Welcome to the LIBR 287 Technology Forecasting Guide.  This libguide has been prepared by the students to predict which emerging technologies are likely to be adopted by libraries within three different time frame horizons:

• Adoption - to be adopted or implemented within a one-year time frame.
• Advocacy - to be adopted or implemented within a two to three year time frame.
• Prediction - to be adopted or implemented within a four to five year time frame.
