What is this?

This guide is meant to help students from Ms. Corman's 10th grade History class at Carlmont High School find quality information about Ancient Greece for her annual history report.  Since Ms. Corman requires each student to have at least one source in the form of a book, one in the form of a reference article, and a periodical source, I have included in this pathfinder ways to find each of those at the Belmont Library.  Students need to remember, though, that because the Belmont Library is a smaller branch we do not have unlimited items in our collection.  We do, however, have access to twenty other branches and students can freely browse the entire catalog and place holds on items from all over the county, although these may take up to a week to arrive at Belmont for you.

Each tab at the top of this page lists items and how to search for more items for that particular topic, such as book, reference, or periodical.  I have also included educational websites where students can gather more information.

Good luck and enjoy!

All the information within this pathfinder can be found through smcl.org
