Getting Started

If you’re a Marin County Library patron in your 20s and 30s and you're looking for introductory guidance on the topic of retirement planning, this subject guide is just for you. All of the books featured in this guide can be found through MARINet, the Marin County consortium of libraries.

Here's how to use this guide:

  2. On the center of each page, you'll find a selection of hand-picked resources. Click on a resource title to view its record in the MARINet catalog. Here you'll see what library or libraries in Marin County have that book on the shelf.

  3. The right-hand side of each page features tips for searching. Try out these tips to find more books and other resources about personal finance, retirement and investing.

  4. You can also use the MARINet catalog link in the "Library Links" box to do keyword searches from any page.
